Making Wishes Come True
Every child deserves joy, comfort and connection — especially when facing the challenges of illness or disability. At Hastings Little Wishes, we grant wishes big and small to brighten the lives of local children and their families.
What is a wish
A wish is a special gift or experience, chosen to meet the unique needs, interests or dreams of a child.
Wishes may include:
Family experiences or respite support
Special surprises to bring smiles in tough times
Therapy Equipment
Who can apply
Children aged 0–18 living with serious or chronic health conditions or disabilities
Living in the Hastings region
Families, therapists, or community members can nominate a child

We’d love to hear from you. It’s easy to get started — just complete our Wish Nomination Form, and a member of our team will be in touch.
Our volunteer board meets monthly to review all nominations carefully. While we do our very best to say “yes” to as many wishes as possible, we rely entirely on community donations. Wishes will be granted when:
Funding is available
The child and family meet our eligibility criteria
The board agrees that Hastings Little Wishes is the most appropriate organisation to support the request
We’re honoured to receive every nomination and will contact you with the outcome once the review process is complete.
